The Apostle Paul

Paul, formerly known as Saul, became an apostle of Christ Jesus only after first strongly opposing the Christian faith (Acts 8:1). Despite this, he subsequently became zealous for the preaching of the good news, even writing as many as 14 letters which comprise no small part of the Greek scriptures (sometimes referred to as the New Testament).
