Featured Publication T here exist many programs which can accomplish word processing, but few of them are as useful for writing, editing, and processing program code as they are for notepad duties, and even fewer are free.   If you are suspicious about anything free, remember: Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean everybody's not out to get you.   The web address given above is where you'll find the program PFE (Program File Editor).   It can not only be used to write program code, but it also serves as a useful replacement for Windows Notepad, with a number of superior features.   Drag and Drop Editing is one nifty feature PFE possesses, and PFE places no limit on file sizes.   Other features not found in Notepad include Search and Replace and Execute DOS Command to a Window.   The latter is useful for saving the output of a program to a file.   There is a 32-bit version available, and PFE also features many customizable settings such as default directory.   Practically a must-have, and did I mention it's free?
