With the wealth of sites on the internet and the ease with which one can jump around in cyberspace, it easy to get disoriented or forget where one has been in a given online session.   Here are some tips for keeping track.

In newer browsers right-clicking the `Back' or `Forward' button can be a useful feature when you, as a surfer, want to get back to some site you have been visiting in the same browsing session (since you last opened your browser).   After right-clicking, you can select a site from the list either by clicking or using cursor keys and pressing "Enter".

Going to a new site erases any sites stored under the `Forward' button, though.   Opening a History window gives a more comprehensive list of sites visited, including all sites which were visited during the current and other sessions even including websites visited possibly weeks ago.   Sites can also be deleted from the History list.
