As day and as Night
God's only Creation
Say `Let there be Light'

The waters below
Meet
The waters beside
The waters to gather

To form a divide

Two days of creation
Dry land to sustain
Three days of creation
Lush growth but no rain

Four days of creation
Two sources of light
The :) in the daytime
The ;) in the night

O' sea creatures plenty
And wings of the sky
Five days of creation
To make souls that fly

Six days of creation
In God's image man
And woman like him
Does the best that she can

Of six days perfection
Of six days the best
For six days subjection
And sabbath - the rest
