Proverbs 12
1A man loving knowledge is going to school
1And he who is hating reproof is a fool
2The good man obtains all Jehovah's delight
2But one loving pains is condemned in his sight

3A worker of mischief will not make a stand
3Still doers of good will take root in the land
4A woman of worth makes her husband a king
4As rot in his bones she who scandal does bring

5The thoughts of the truthful are justice when due
5Advice from a guilty man falls short of true
6The wicked plot murder from under their breath
6A righteous mouth rescues the blameless from death

7The bad are upended and vanish away
7The house of the upright is set here to stay
8A man is commended for how he is wise
8But those who are crooked of heart we despise

9Though hated he's better who boasts of a slave
9Than braggarts of self who mere sustenance crave
10A righteous man nurtures the soul of a beast
10Compassions of wicked men pity the least

11One tilling his soil will be sated with bread
11But those chasing vanity want in their head
12The bad man delights nets of evil to wield
12But innocent root will delightfully yield

13The evil are caught when their lips do transgress
13While men who are just shall get out of distress
14Though sated with good from the fruit of his lips
14With what he has done shall a man come to grips

15The way of a fool now one may not advise
15But he who will hearken to counsel is wise
16A foolish man's flame is at present revealed
16The prudent a shameful thing will keep concealed

17As he who speaks truly declares what is just
17So bearing false witness betrays all who trust
18While one may speak out as the thrust of a knife
18The tongue of the wise is a healing to life

19A word that is true shall be set for all time
19The voice of a lie for a moment may chime
20A fraudulent heart does devise what is bad
20While those who advise to be happy are glad

21As nothing of evil will come to the good
21So bad ones with bad are filled that's understood
22The lip of a lie to Jehovah is sin
22But those who are faithful his favour let in

23A man who is wise can conceal knowledge well
23The heart of a fool all that's folly does tell
24A hand that is eager will rule as the king
24While slackers are forced to make big hammers swing

25Its sorrow is making a human heart sad
25A word that is good is what makes it feel glad
26The righteous will spy out his own fertile ground
26The way of the wicked one wanders around

27The lazy of heart will not seek after game
27The wealth of the diligent brings a good name
28The way of the good is a life without wrong
28So travel the path do not die and live long
