Draft Version Song 1 ``Happy is he who has not wandered by the word of wickedness and on the step of sinners has not stood and on the rostrum of ridiculers has not rested.''1A happy man waries of wicked words' way 1He stands not in sin nor with mockers we'll say 2His law is Jehovah's in it his delight 2He meditates on it all day and all night 3A tree that is planted by watery streams 3He brings forth his fruit in a season of dreams 3His leaf does not wither he does his delight 3And everything of his shall prosper as right 4But not are the wicked like that shall we say 4More like to the chaff which the wind drives away 5The wicked shall not in our own judgment stand 5Nor sinners assemble with righteous at hand 6Jehovah is knowing the righteous one's way 6The way of the wicked will perish one day © 2008 Ward Green. Psalms 1 1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the wicked, Nor standeth in the way of sinners, Nor sitteth in the seat of scoffers: Psalms 1 2 But his delight is in the law of Jehovah; And on his law doth he meditate day and night. Psalms 1 3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the streams of water, That bringeth forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also doth not wither; And whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. Psalms 1 4 The wicked are not so, But are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Psalms 1 5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment, Nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. Psalms 1 6 For Jehovah knoweth the way of the righteous; But the way of the wicked shall perish. |
