Song 115
Not without Jehovah. Surely your name gives honour because of your kindness and because of your certain truth.

Why say and as the nations do: ``Where, now is our God?''

Now our God is in the heavens, and all that he desires he fulfills.

Their idols of silver and gold, the product of men's hands, 5have a mouth but they don't talk. Eyes they have but they don't see. 6Ears they have but they don't hear. A snout they have but they don't smell anything. 7Their hands don't feel anything, their feet don't walk, nor do they make a sound in their throat.

Just as they are so become all who trust in them.
Israel trusts in Jehovah!
He is our great Help and our Shield.
The house of Aaron trusts in Jehovah
O He is our great Help and our Shield!
Fearing Jehovah, take refuge in Jehovah
For He is our great Help and our Shield!
Jehovah remembers who actually kneel down. His own house of Israel kneels. His own house of Aaron kneels.

Those fearing Jehovah, both small ones and great ones alike, kneel.

Jehovah blesses magnificently, among sons.

Bow yourselves to Jehovah the Maker of the heavens and the earth!

The loftier heavens belong to Jehovah, but the earth he has given to the sons of men.

The dead do not boast to Jah, but they all descend into silence.

We bless Jah now and always! Praise Jah!
